Wow. Just wow. Not much was functioning in regards to this weeks SCH.
I went to a pretty cool social FUNCTION on Saturday, fully planning on using that as my subject, but my brain failed to FUNCTION and I forgot my camera. The FUNCTION was Cheyenne Super Day, which is a Saturday of artsy-type booths, bounce houses, games, a car show and my fravorite, an evening outdoor concert featuring Blue Oyster Cult.
So I stole NoRegrets idea and took this picture of the window screen that will not FUNCTION to keep the mosquitos out. My dog was in the back yard when it started to hail and thunder. No one was home so she decided to make her own way in.
She didn't actually make it. The neighbors saw it and brought her into their house until the storm passed. They're very nice neighbors!
Thanks for the idea NoRegrets! As a reward, you get the distinguished honor of choosing next weeks word!
And on an entirely different note....Blogger really needs to work on their picture formatting FUNCTIONality. It stinks!

There ya go, good job, 3GK. I hope you get that fixed soon because mosquitoes, flies, bees and wasps are all annoying when they get indoors.
ReplyDeleteI have informed NoRegrets that she is tagged.
Oh, poor dog... At least it was rescued! Nice photos...
ReplyDeleteActually, the dog's not so poor, just kinda dumb sometimes. She has a doghouse, plus about 3 other places she could have gotten under cover.
ReplyDeleteAnd Pamela, do you have a blog? Your profile is closed to me and I don't think I've subscribed to a blog of anyone name Pamela. Just curious.
ReplyDeleteReally nice post 3GirlKnight!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly do have nice neighbors. What a great thing for them to do.
Blue Oyster Cult... oh I wish I could have seen that!
I never even thought of using a social function as an example! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThose are good examples of your "functioning" post.. well done..Too bad about the dog and the back door screen.. Got to give the dog credit for trying..
ReplyDeleteI never am able to take pictures when I really want to. Drives me crazy. But you ended up with a fine post anyway :-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, Pamela is actually NoRegrets in disguise. And she chose the word Vault for this week.
Ah ha! Thanks for the FYI Laura B. And thank you all for the positive responses! It's a breath of fresh air, I tell you what...
ReplyDeleteScreens are very important and dogs are very good at ruining screens. So maybe that's one of the many functions of a dog? Fun post!
