Going's on....and randomness

I'm still alive. Apparently.

At least no one's said, "You're dead meat!" lately.

Work's picking up, Praise the Lord! But I'm trying to get twice the amount of work done with the same amount of people. It's come down to the wire. Break even...or else. Talk about motivation! I really don't want to be looking for a job right now. At least involuntarily. And I do like working here. We have our problems and I have my stress points, but all in all, I have a lot of 'get it done' guys working for me.

And we're being successful. I haven't ramped up like I normally would, instead we're letting lead times grow and we seem to be hanging in there any way. A couple of customers aren't too happy, but they're not pulling their orders... I'm very hopeful that July was at least a little bit profitable. And we're doing better than the other plant, so HA!

Marriage is....meh. We'll skip that topic.

And my 2nd born is headed to kindergarten in a couple of weeks! I'll have one in 1st grade, one in kindergarten, and one getting ready. Fun stuff! Especially since I won't have to pay for so much child care.

And I have been reading some blog posts. My imaginationally retarded brain just doesn't have much to say about them. But I'll keep reading.
