Boring Thursday's Randomness

- I think we should start taking the security words some comments require and start making definitions for them. So what should "bloreb" mean?

- I'm envious of some people's fantastic ability to write. Most recently, it's L. 'Ailina Laranang.

- I was reading through Dale Carnegie's "Golden Book" and he lists only one thing as the "Perfect Way to Conquer Worry." Prayer.

- What!?! Someone just turned in a new order?!! Yippee! So what if it's going to take all of 4 hours to finish.

- Holy moly it's slow at work...

- I've signed up for the Dale Carnegie: Effective Communications and Human Relations course. 3.5 hours every Monday evening for 12 weeks and the classroom is an hour and a half away....reminds me of college...stupid commutes.

- Raw almonds aren't nearly as good as I remember them to be. I think they may have been roasted last time.

- I like Arizona Iced Tea. And it's 23 ounces are cheaper than Pepsi's 16 ounces.

- I really hope I will not have to lay anyone off this spring. That extended homebuyer tax credit better help!!

  1. I have often felt that we should give definitions for those words! Some of them just beg to be used somehow.

  2. Isn't Ailina cool? :-)

I loooove Arizona Iced Tea. I have the green tea with honey quite a lot.

Here's hoping things pick up at work for you!!!

  3. I once picked up a bag of "raw" shelled peanuts thinking they were the same as regular unsalted and shelled peanuts. Whoa, totally off. Not the same. I love almonds, though.

"Bloreb", eh? How about a mistake made on a blog?

  4. Oh my. That was unexpected! lol! Didn't expect to see my name there. Thank you, Ken (and Laura, for agreeing with him!)! lol

Ken, is the Carnegie class required, or are you taking it for personal enrichment?

I also love Arizona tea, but moments are rare when I don't have a cup of coffee in my hand. Coffee in one hand, tea in the other? That would just be weird. :)

Good luck on your future employee retention.

  5. Hey Ailina!

Well, I can't say it's exactly required, but my boss has strongly encouraged all of us to attend. I'm looking forward to it. My brain has been educationally stagnant for too long.

If I like Arizona tea, I herald coffee as being given directly from the hand of God. Doesn't do my stomach any good, but I sure like it!

Thanks for visiting and thank you all for your comments!

  6. I am convinced that everybody has the ability to write. I wrote 61,000 words back in November for the NaNoWriMo. Some of them were even good. If you want to write, be it fiction or non-fiction, just write and let the words come from your imagination.

First off, roasted almonds are way better than raw. The roasting bring out the essential oils that enhance the flavor.

I only drink coffee in the morning and does my body good. It also keeps me from thinking stabby thoughts all day.
