There have been 2 pictures taken so far. So, so sad. For one reason or another, I just haven't been able to get it done. Either I forgot the camera, the cord, batteries, or more likely, there is a mess that I just don't want to record for posterity's sake.
So here they are! All 2 pictures! Both of the outside.
Looking at the second picture, you can see what I was talking about when I mentioned this was built way back when people wanted a mobile home to look mobile. The 2 big taillights and the marker lights up top are still there. Of course it's been modernized a little. You can see a bit of the cable box down at the bottom.
I've done a little bit of work to it to make it a little less 'cheap' feeling. Those repairs have prompted me to start writing my next blog post which will be all about some of the little things you can do to make an old house, trailer, or apartment feel new again, without major renovations or cost. Trust me, I have experience. Too much experience. Some day I hope to build my own new house. Some day.

Yay for your fresh start!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great little place and you are a handy guy! I'll look forward to your fix-it tips.
ReplyDeleteAnd those beautiful smiles are well worth recording :-)
t looks like that tree is growing right out of the side of the house....that could be the name..."the tree house"...mine is the sanctuary.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking kids!
secret agent - I yay too!
ReplyDeletelaura - It's a place. Can't say it's 'great' so much, but thank you!
Fatherhood - That's a good idea. I'm already stumbling over 'home' and 'my house' and all that.
Thanks!
