This building is very near my work. They're closing soon, hence the for sale sign. Off in the background is a new building being constructed. It's an extension to a satellite farm just to the right.
I thought of this as a start in different ways. The building in the back is the start of a new venture for that company, the start of a new job for some people, and the start of more traffic in our neighborhood.The building in the front is an ending in most ways, but it's also the start of new adventures for those people looking for new work. Maybe not a fun adventure, but an adventure none-the-less. If the building is sold, it may be the start of a new business and different opportunities.

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, OH. There's the old version that welcomes tours and ghost hunts, but then the new one is just down the road.
